special ones

Artistic shot of Buddy in Franklin.
The buddies were with Mom and Dad Andrews while we were to and from Florida. (Thanks for watching them!)

We heard stories that Chet would stare at the baseboard in my parent's room for 15 minutes at a time. He did this on multiple occasions. We thought it was really goofy and funny, so I asked them to take a picture of it so we could see:

Scarlet probably didn't know why she was looking at the baseboard, she just likes to be like her brother.

february flights

Ft. Wayne- St. Petersburg
Tampa-Detroit-Manchester, NH
Portland, Maine- New York- Atlanta- Tampa
Tampa- Atlanta- Dayton

These are the flights that Jeff and I have taken over the last 12 days. Jeff had a flight voucher from our Spain trip that allowed us to be with the band on the weekends and in Florida on the weekdays with his fam. holy moly, it was a lot of flying. I was pretty claustrophobic by the last few flights-
get away from me random people!! AH!
We are in Virginia this weekend. It is shaping up to be a busy weekend; the quiet of the snow helps to calm me down though. My parents took care of the fuzzy buddies for these last three weeks, but they dropped them off at our house this weekend so they will be waiting for us when we come home this Monday =) We can't wait to see them. Home is not home unless your family is there, in this case, the Wellingtons.

Here are a few more pictures from our time in Florida:

Mom and Dad Edgel have been married 40 years! Congrats!
Kid-hair after being at the playground with niece Alda and Company.
The temp rarely hit 60, but we made the best and enjoyed the
sun when it decided to grace us with its presence.
Big dead fish. ew.
I HAD to have this pic from the Disney parade. Ok, this is my theory.
Miss Piggy and Kermit is to Molly and Jeff.
Similarities of Molly and Miss Piggy:
  1. Clumsy
  2. Some call it demanding, others strong willed
  3. Like food
  4. Dramatic
  5. Blonde
  6. Some call it emotional, others a big heart
Similarities of Jeff and Kermit:
  1. Easy going
  2. Break into song every now and then
  3. Unique voice
  4. Brings people back to what really matters (friends, family)
  5. problem solver
  6. peacemaker
No matter what comes their way, both couples rely on each other's strengths to overcome the odds. Always realizing what matters most: love and friendship. *sigh*

Disney with the Edgels

The Edgels have congregated in Florida for the first two weeks of Feb. Andy and his family, Mom and Dad Edgel, and Jeff and I went to Disney's Magic Kingdom this Wednesday. The highlight was most definitely seeing our 4-year-old niece, Alda get transformed at the Bibbity Bobbity Boutique into Princess Tiana (from the Princess and the Frog movie). Everything about it was adorable! There were all of these little girls getting fairy-dusted and made up. I would say that Alda had the largest paparazzi following her as you can see in the mirror here:

Isn't she the cutest little Princess you've ever seen!? After the transformation, we called her Princess Ti-Alda. It really was magical being at Disney. Call me a sucker, but I got emotional more than once that day. Witnessing all of the smiles and excited kids reminded me how magical it was to be young. Speaking of being young, we tried to recreate a picture of Luke and I when my family went to Disney a while back. It didn't turn out exactly the same....

I look like a dumbfounded dork because the sword started to come out of the stone (?)- i was so confused! For a second I thought I might be breaking it, but then I remembered that I am not THAT strong.
Jeff is getting ready to wish upon a star in this pic
Tiana and Ti-Alda =)
On the way home: Sleeping Beauty with Grandpa Mike. Being a princess is hard work!
