This past weekend all of my friends pitched in to get our friend Kelly to Huntington for the weekend! She lives in Atlanta and is getting married in October. It was a great time of reminiscing and just hanging out. It was pretty surreal to have Kelly back in Indiana, considering it had been almost two years since some of us had seen her in this setting =) Being with these girls reminds us all how lucky we are to have each other! College is such a unique time where friendships can grow; And now we are blessed that they continue to do so- I am so thankful for these girls!
As if this weren't fun enough, a few of my friends had a day at the lake, which was also great! These exciting activities have helped me to not dwell on the fact that Jeff will be gone for a total of 6 days (i am on day 5 of 6). I am feeling mostly rejuvenated and ready to live out of a suitcase for the next month+......more summer adventures to come!
